Your job goes to one tradesperson first, and never to more than three. They know they are not one of a crowd, so they reply.
A tradesperson pays £10 only when they click Accept on your job. Declining is free, so nobody accepts a job they cannot do.
If you go quiet within 72 hours, their £10 comes back. Nobody is chasing you for a fee.
